About 200 km (3.5–4 hrs) from Ahmedabad. Venues here include resort lawns for roughly 600 guests (for example, The Fern Sardar Sarovar Resort, listed at up to ~625) and tent-city properties on the Narmada with lawns for ~500 and banquet space for ~1,000. Because rooms are limited, book early for weddings of more than 300 guests.

Diu — Nagoa Beach

About 370 km (around 7 hrs) away. This is the closest beach-wedding option for Gujarati families. Beach resorts here host roughly 50–500 guests, and costs are generally lower than in Goa.

Rann of Kutch — Dhordo (White Desert)

About 400 km away, via Bhuj. The Rann Utsav tent city runs from 1 November 2026 to 7 March 2027. Official 1-night packages start at around ₹6,300 per person (non-AC Swiss cottage, twin sharing) and go up to about ₹10,300 for super-premium tents, plus GST. Peak dates cost more. It suits a smaller, unforgettable celebration more than a 1,000-guest wedding.

Saputara & Polo Forest
